Phillip Walker O.D.

Dr. Phillip A. Walker, owner of The Eye Care Center, is an Oklahoma City native and has been in practice for 38 years. After being honorably discharged from the Marine Corps, Dr. Walker attended the University of Oklahoma and the University of Tulsa. He graduated from Optometry school in 1972 and began a practice here in Oklahoma City. Dr. Walker is married with two children, is an avid fisherman and loves to golf. He offers a warm caring environment at The Eye Care Center and looks forward to providing the best care available to meet your vision needs.

 

 

 

 

 

Tyler Glaze O.D.

Dr. Tyler W. Glaze, the newest addition to our clinical team, was born and raised in Chickasha Oklahoma and has spent his entire life as a proud Oklahoma native. Upon graduating from Chickasha High School in 2003, he completed three years of undergraduate study at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond going on to receive his Bachelors degree in Vision Science from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. He graduated with honors from the Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in May of 2010. Dr. Glaze practices full scope primary eye care but is most passionate about treating all types of ocular disease. Currently, he and his wife Hillary, reside in Northwest Oklahoma City and are happy to be back in the metro area that they consider their true home. They are active members of Council Road Baptist Church and enjoy spending time with their family, especially their 7 nieces and nephews. In his free time he enjoys playing guitar, photography, video production, road biking, and experiencing food from other cultures.

Julie McCoy O.D.

Dr. Julie McCoy grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma and graduated from Edmond Memorial High School. She completed her undergraduate studies at Oklahoma State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.  She received the degree of Doctor of Optometry from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.  Dr. McCoy and her husband Zac relocated to Edmond from Tulsa, Oklahoma in October 2009 in order to be closer to their families and friends. She is glad to be back home and looks forward to caring for you and your family's eye care needs.
